My first Hydro grow! tips and comments are appreciatied

I just went back over page one and looked at the photos.....they are definitely better....give them a week before turning. I notice you have all three of them next to each other in the smaller res.....how about trying to spread them out to keep potential root troubles at bay.

Speaking of....how long ARE your roots now? They need to be hanging somewhat in the water for DWC to work. Are yourr long enough for the larger tub?

Roots have definitely gotten long enough for large tub. I wanna wait and sex them first like you said. They're not near big enough yet. I haven't been using hydrogen peroxide, I don't use any zyme product. What's is it?

tell me thats not a big upgrade

You can use hydrogen peroxide to help keep your roots in healthy condition and assist in keeping root rot at bay. The other option (which is better for your plants but more expensive as well....) is using a zyme product like Sensizym, Cannazym which helps keep your roots healthy. Zyme products can also assist with keeping the ph stable in your res as well.

PS....Most zyme products are enzymes so can't be mixed with Hydrogen peroxide.t's one or the other generally.

You need more light for those plants.....the stuff you are using is not doing it for branching and bushiness while growing.

Whats everyones thoughts on the 100$ 400w hps lights from htgsupply.com? I was told by some1 whos been in hydro for 20 years that it would cost the company more then 100$ to make it, let alone sell it for that price. She told me it was to good to be true.

Hey Krimet....the website looked ok to me. That's just my opinion.....not my $100 like it is yours. But if I WERE going to buy it I'd call them on the phone. They look pretty legit I think..

Can you use the same light for vegging? OR are you going to have two seperate grow areas? If not......grab an mh conversion bulb (if you have the $$)for vegging.
