Bugs Question
I have the same and I am not sure what to use on them. They are tiny black gnat looking flys. Looks like it's coming from the soil. They do fly. I have an indoor setup and also I got some mushrooms growing in the soil. I pulled them out. Don't know how that happened. This soil that I used was gurranteed to be bug free, the brand is (Kellog - Patio Plus indoor and outdoor potting soil). Is this stuff ok to use. I have been using it for 30 days now.

Bugs Question
:0 u had a random mushroom grow in ur soil? sounds like something a bit odd in ur grow room. u got good ventilation and temperature and all that? I had a little weed (non-psychoactive
)grow in my pot but a mushroom seems strange.
if the flies come from the soil that is definitely very disgusting. Looks like u are gonnna have to sit around clapping flies with ur hands. KILL THEM!!! or they could just be harmless....

Bugs Question
Yeah I have pretty good ventilation. The temp is good too. Not too hot and not to humid. It doesn't get too cold either. There must have been about five mushrooms in four pots of soil. Weird I would have to agree. The flys have iridescent wings. They are small. They like the soil and leaves. What kind of insecticide should I use to get rid of them?

Bugs Question
Use Neem Oil. Mix 1/2 tsp. neem oil and 1/4 tsp. mild dish soap into 1 liter/quart water (I prefer distilled), shake it up reakl good. Now spray the WHOLE PLANT, underside of the leaves and all, and spray the hell out of the soil. Repeat this every other day for a week, you will still see the gnats, but they will not be able to reproduce, kinda like bug-genocide. The adult gnats are harmless to your plants, it's the larvae that hurt the plants by eating the roots. You can also mix a slightly stronger solution and spray the rest of the grow room to be sure that they don't come back.
Also this is a safe solution that can be used except in the final week of flowering.
Hope this helps.
