i would suggest keeping the recommendation with the id on it on you at all times. while the card may work in some instances, the original recommendation signed by a licensed physician is the real document that qualifies you as a medical cannabis patient.

other than that, just make sure your physicians office is available for verification during your first visit to a coop. a recommendation is no good if it can't be verified
