Saving Drained Nutrient Water...
Do not reuse. The run off contains salts and excess nutrients that are no good to the plant. You probably have more than enough nutes in your soil as a seedling does not need nutes for a couple weeks. Just give them plain water at 6.5.
grey1223 Reviewed by grey1223 on . Saving Drained Nutrient Water... Hey guys, new to this forum so hello :) This is my first grow and I have a 9 day old seedling set in miracle grow soil mix and today when watering I found the drained water was very yellow and there was a decent amount of it. My question is should I save the yellow water that drained through the bottom of the pot and reuse in 2 days when I water again? Reason I ask is I have no vegatative nutrients and the yellow in this water must be the nutrients I need that came from the soil right? Rating: 5
