    Pros/Cons of monster-sized plants

When growing in the outdoors, are there are advantages or disadvantages when it comes to height of the plant? For example, is there any difference between a 4ft plant and a 7ft plant? Which is more desirable?

short plants are only good for stealth. The 7 foot plant could possibly produce a lot more if it was well taken care of and topped. Some strains just stretch and become giants while others have longer veg periods maybe from starting inside before the weather was nice and then had 4+ months of veg will produce giants with a lot of budding sites and more than one main cola

The other thing about a plant that is quite high is that you need a more powerfull lamp to be able to get trought the first levels of the plant, in order to "feed" light to the base of the plant. Using a 1000w HPS or MH usually fix this problem, but if you're planning on a CFL grow of even an 600w it may not be a good idea to grow it too tall.

Not even, i'm at work, maybe too much distraction... Sorry about that or it might just be the "left over" effect of yesterday!

Well for an real answer now: the problem you may encounter with a really tall plant is that it is easy to spot, but that all depends on what is in the environment sourounding it.
