What are these and why won't they leave.

They are infesting my grow and my room. Driving me insane. I spray dish soap-water mixture in the infested spots but they just seem to migrate. Please, I need advice.

I don't really know what it is but the real question here is are they getting on your plant? Maybe a normal bug trap for any flying insects may get them... Have you tried anything beside what you told us ?

You probably have standing water. You need to DRY OUT your grow area. Put the pots up on racks if you have to. Empty and SCRUB catch trays under the plants. Let them dry out entirely and prevent water sitting in them in the future. Those little shits look like fungus gnats to me, and only live in environments that have stagnant water or muck to breed in.

    Thanks guys

    Stinky,
I have dried out my grow area once before because I figured standing water was the appeal for the pests. They seemed like gnats to me. They were gone for a day or two but seemed to return. Probably because of another standing water formation. Is there anyway to prevent them without constantly having to scrub my grow area dry? Would a normal bug trap like LuciferN mentioned maybe work?

I believe you can stop the little buggers breeding by putting a layer of sand on top of your soil. This stops them from laying there eggs under the soil and breaks the reproduction. Use sticky traps aswell.
