    yep, another meps!

    Hey guys,
    Well after much thought and consideration I decided to do the deed and join the military. Guess I'll lay it out how it is, 6'2" 165lbs. Heavy smoker for about 4 months, last day smoked was the 15th of March. Started on a 7 day detox program from a company called covert labs on the 26th of March. One of those 6 pills a day type of thing. Plan on waking up and doing a home test to see where I stand in the morning with the first drain. My MEPS is probably going to be next week (as scheduled) or possibly pushed to the week of the 14th if need be. Been really sketched out and just wanted to see what others thought about my situation. Am I good or do I need to start busting out the excuses? Thanks guys!

    If you read through these forums, I don't think you will read anything positive about any quick detox program. Get some cheap test strips from ebay, and practice the dilution method, don't rely on any quick detox to get you clean.

    sadly you called it. I indeed failed my home self test this morning. its been quite a while and even with a so-called detox i still failed. i'm quite skinny and have a fairly decent metabolism with a low body fat level. i still have until the 14th for my official thirty days. crazy thing is, it already feels like i haven't smoked in months! any other advice?

    Start exercising immediately and get yourself some metamucil. If you can have your test date pushed back... i would do so. As bullitt said you will want to continue to test yourself periodically. Running will be your best bet to help raise your metabolism. This and the metamucil will help to start shedding your thc metabolites. Keep your self hydrated as you exercise. There are alot of great posts here so start reading... Look for anything posted by FBR, Killerweed420, Tebitevas, Burnt toast, Slantedeyes, and myself. Good Luck:thumbsup:

    Do not not listen to a damn thing that spazzoid(his name speaks for itself) posts. Hes constantly telling people to water load which is totally incorrect. Follow my instructions above and you have a great chance. Heres some wise info from FBR for the hundredth time. "Drinking lots of water for days and days before the test will not help you get clean quicker. All that water will not make your kidneys work better".:thumbsup:

    I would suggest going ahead and doing a practice run at diluting. This is a good way to learn your body. With your weight/height and metabolism I think you can test low enough not to show. Keep us posted.

    hey guys,
    i'm telling ya, what a great community here :thumbsup: i have pushed back the date 2 more weeks. Was up at 6 o'clock this morning and hit the streets for some good running. I'm on the way to pick up the metamucil now! will keep ya posted with any further questions and what happens!
