I think I would rather seal the closet, because that seems cheaper than building a scrog.

I found a local 400w HPS light with an extra bulb for $125, nothing under that though...so I think I'm gonna just buy that light.

So, if I staple some foam around the door seems and add a fan in there with the 400wHPS light, and maintain the leaves with carbonated water for CO2, I dont need to worry about the temp and humidity?

I figured I would atleast maybe need a dehumidifier, just incase the light makes some heat, or the weather is humid outside.
You need to be concerned about cooling with a 400 watt hps in a closet, especially if you're wanting to seal it.

You didn't mention an air cooled reflector and I know even a cool tube costs about $85 cheapest store bought so it's not included in that $125 cost.

You also need fresh air from the outside. Carbonated water isn't going to cut it.

General rule of thumb is that you need to spend at least as much money on ventilation as you do on the lighting.

Personally if you could air cooled hoods I think you should spend more on cooling than you do on lights but that's just my opinion.

My questions are: 1)With the closet cleaned and empty...is there enough room to harvest a few plants at a time *veg*+*flowering*? 2)How can I control the temperature/humidity, without adding any holes in the walls? 3)Do I just need to go ahead and make a grow cabinet to fit the size of the room? (If I need to install aircontrol and stuff into the walls....I will Rating: 5
