i blog and talk to iraqi bloggers all the time, for the most part they knew who they were voting for.it is a very small minority of people who do not want the brits and the americans to be there.the minority is led by extremist mullah's who preach wassahbism(radicalism)the MAJORITY of iraqi's are young and do not want to live in that enviroment

I'm really happy to hear that alot of the people you talk to knew who they were voting for. Do you know if the older part of the population are as well informed or is it that the young people are informing their slefs?.

most free societies were born from chaos
I agree but I just cant agree with the way it has been done, first we're told that it's about WMD's then the liberation of iraq. There is also the small matter of flawed intelligence. To me it was gonna go ahead what ever. I think there has to be an uprising from with in if revolution is what it is, not W going in there with his 'shock and awe' mission...just calling it that sounds like he just wannted to show how powerful the U.S. military is.

but i bekieve that freedom will prevail and for the greater good in the world people will have to make a sacrifice.thing's are for sure crazy in iraq right now but there are still more schools than before the war, more electricity than before the war, more hospitals than before the war and the list goes on and on.it's a bumpy road, but it's the right road.
I sure hope that freedom prevails but when I read things like this "Iraq now has some of the worst health indicators in the Middle East. Medical charities say the health system is in a worse condition than before the invasion. According to Medact, 12% of hospitals were damaged during the fighting and the two main public health laboratories destroyed." It just makes me sceptical.

Maybe im a pesermist or some thing but the more I read the more I distrust our governments.
