Another suggestion on grow bags is to use them on a grooved drain tray (like an ebb n flow table, check the Botanicare ones for what I'm talking about) or on a grate, because a grow bag just plopped on the floor doesn't always drain so well...
yeah, that was the plan to be in the final 5gal since 3gal seems to come up short, but those buckets are $$... and you nailed it on the head with the drain thing. I have been thinking about how one would get those to drain well in bags if they were just sitting.

Those botanicare trays look nice but a little on the high $ side.
sooo... it might be cheaper and easier in the end using buckets, and then using cheap trays under each. (ei: disposable aluminum turkey pans lol) Might take a stab at making some caddy's...
