help!! hermie pollination ??'s
i havent been in my flower room for a few days...
i have a known hermie in the corner.
ive been pullin pollen pods as i see them becuase they havent been plentiful, and i want as much green as possible from this first indoor grow. (9 females and 1 hermie atm...)
unfortunatelly, in the 2 days i havent been down there, there has developed and deployed.....a pollen pod.
i neeed to know what percautions i can take to help my females fight off this unwanted breeding........
things to consider:
im in week 5 of flower
i have good air movement
any help is appreciated.chinacat443 Reviewed by chinacat443 on . help!! hermie pollination ??'s i havent been in my flower room for a few days... i have a known hermie in the corner. ive been pullin pollen pods as i see them becuase they havent been plentiful, and i want as much green as possible from this first indoor grow. Keep picking them off. Wet your fingers with water before you pinch them. There's nothing much else to do- there's a product called 'reverse' that prevents pollination, but it's too late to use it. And next time, go for genetics that herm less easily.

thanks for the info.
does that mean that my females will now start to produce seeds????
and as per the genetics less likely to hermie.......
i started with a whole shit load of bagseeds as i didnt have access to a reputable seed dispensary. hopefully this summer, my trip to cali will be fruitful.

I had a similar problem last grow, just a lot worse. Anyhow i would suggest turning your circulation fans off so as not to blow around the pollen. Then if you are real motivated take a wet rag and try to wipe down some obvious surfaces while the fans are off. It sucks....maybe next time if its only one plant remove it and help save the others. Good luck.
