I actually was never a very good runner till I tried smoking and then running. I don't smoke too much- I think the trick here is not getting "too" stoned.

After I feel a bit stoney I get my music ready and go. It sounds cliche, and saying it sounds cliche sounds cliche, but it really helps me get in this "zone" I've never been able to get into before, and I'm actually getting pretty good at running for the first time in my life.

I go running around sunset- I think that makes a difference for me too.
