IMHO, if your kids grow up viewing cannabis as a helpful MEDICAL drug, it will give them a healthier view of pot later in life. Nailhead has lived up to his username... hittin' it on the head!

I highly suggest looking into the anti-inflammatory strains that are out there, as well as the painkilling ones, and check out the thread that is stickied at the top of the 'medical strains' section.

Growing is really easy if you don't over-think it! Also, the process of growing from a seed or clone to a ripe plant will give your kids, if you choose to involve them when they are old enough, a new respect for cannabis the PLANT, not 'dope' the DRUG.
