Secondly, I'd like to think that if we were to disable Iran's nuclear weapons program, we'd do it with full support from the UN. But other posters are partially right, we don't have the manpower to launch an all-out ground war in a country that size. At the moment, we're trying to handle these matters diplomatically... hopefully we'll make some progress there. The IAEA knows that Iran is acting shady in regards to the suspension of uranium enrichment, and sanctions have already been proposed.

At stake is the security of a vital region of the world and the credibility of the Security Council and the IAEA,ā? he said, adding that the US seeks to resolve the issue diplomatically.

I agree that we shouldn't be forced to police the world, but I don't agree with sitting on our hands and patiently wait for them to carry through on their threats of attempting to destroy Israel. This world seems to be heading for even more tumultuous times in the years ahead, and I think it's about time for people to realize that it's not going to go away on its own. If we choose to do nothing, we'll powerless to stop anything.
