It's neither good nor harmful to your plants.

You can grow under pretty much any color temperature you want. But ideally you want to veg with 5500k - 6500K color bulbs and flower with 2700K-3500K color bulbs.

You're kind of in the middle. It's not ideal for this phase of growth but it's not going to harm your plants at all, they'll still grow just fine.

The bulb was quite expensive but i wanted to know if it was correct spectrum for vegging ? I also got a Phillips 70w HPS SON lamp that fits in the same lamp. Im not sure of the spectrum or lumens but would like to know if this could be used for veg or better left for flower ? Thanks guys :D Rating: 5
