what is molasses used for and were do you get it? is it neccesary?

A little insight into my feeding schedule is: 30ml big bloom 7.5ml tiger bloom 5ml liquid karma 1 medium drizzle of molasses every 2-3 waterings ?ml Sweet, every ? watering. I feed 2 times in a row, then on the third watering I dont use any ferts or additives. So its just water every third watering. Rating: 5
