full spectrum lights
full spectrum is a more natural way to go with lighting, it give a more balanced view to the plants. its a good idea to have about 50 watts of light per square foot(hid lighting not floro or cfl)
uv bulbs can be dangerous to you, theres abunch of info around here on the uv.
in a full specturm you should have a mixed kelvin(kelvin is basically the color of the light, mainly here about the reddish or bluish kelvin spectrum for cannabis) the quality of kelvin should be about the same in every manufacturer. might get different lumens ratings per manufacturer
i would recommend using atleast a 150watt hid lighting for a small number of plants. but would still recommend a 600(best lamp in my eyes, and best watt per lumen ratio)texas grass Reviewed by texas grass on . full spectrum lights or sun lamps, whatever you wanna call it. Im thinking of using some of these lights. anyone know the quantity of kelvin and bulbs and wattage of lights I would need for about 1-2 plants? Rating: 5
