Hey rusted, I just started a grow, i'm planning on flowering 4 plants to a height of 2.5-3ft with a 250 watt hps. I figure each plant will use 1 square foot so 4 square feet in total thats just over 60 watts per square foot. I'm pretty sure that will be enough for some good results, so I think a 250 will be good for you.

Good luck!

Indoor Grow log >CFL to HPS in two months< So, I've got an indoor light job that's setup to veg some seedlings a bit, it's a CFL/FL setup because I'm poor, and they always say the best things come from the poorest of people. So, I tried my best. What I came up with is a simple box w/ some light deficiencies, but it's a 42 watt (2700 lumens, 2700k warm/yellow/orange) and a T18 15 wattage (700 lumens, weak...) 6500K (blue) tube. I'm upgrading soon to a 65 watt CFL, once I stop by a real electrical depot for a larger socket... Rating: 5
