So, I've got an indoor light job that's setup to veg some seedlings a bit, it's a CFL/FL setup because I'm poor, and they always say the best things come from the poorest of people.

So, I tried my best. What I came up with is a simple box w/ some light deficiencies, but it's a 42 watt (2700 lumens, 2700k warm/yellow/orange) and a T18 15 wattage (700 lumens, weak...) 6500K (blue) tube.

I'm upgrading soon to a 65 watt CFL, once I stop by a real electrical depot for a larger socket... would be 4500 lumens instead and still same PAR level . . . better!

But, a simple veg grow so far; here's the setup

I'm going to log this for entertainment, and maybe you guys would help me in some problems I may run into! (or give good advice)

Also, I'll throw in a mushroom grow log too just for side kicks!

:rastasmoke:

The camera is my phone, so it is not of the greatest quality. When it comes later I'll have a better one, so... yeah ha! In any case,

I tried to capture the idea of daylight as much as I could, skipping green all together; can't wait till I get the 65W CFL so the veg can eat up the blue spect.

Comments anyone? i'm open to all.. especially if you've gone this route before and could offer some advice.

I hope to get to flowering w/ a 400W MH or HPS setup, whichever I may find cheaper at the time; I'm expecting a m² grow area which i've also mapped out on paper.

I'm concerned; I really wanted to setup a soiless DWC setup but I'm unsure how to go from the soil here over...? would I Just wash off the roots gently and use rock-wool/coco peat?

Design pictures of the grow corner coming in the next month w/ pictures of creation. :]
