hello everyone,

im having some issues in my homebox xs. the temp goes to about 85 if i leave the doors closed on it and the 6" fan on medium. I have a 270w hps with a spot for duct hookups, 6" insulated ducting connected to a vortex 6" fan and can filter on the oustide. the fan is sucking air out of the tent because i cant fit the whole filter and fan inside, it would take up the whole space. i dont have a small fan for the inside pushing air around the leaves of the plants but i am getting one really soon. If anyone has any cheap reccommendations for a cheap clip on fan or something let me know.

the main question i h ave though is right now my 6" insulated ducting is only hooked up to the grow tent, not to the light fixture. if i connect the inside ducting to the light will it suck more heat out? also, where can i get some flanges for connecting my duct to the hydrofarm reflector? do i need to buy special hydrofarm ones or can i find the part at homedepot?

any help or if you know of better ways to cool a small (2x2x4) tent is greatly appreciated.

i forgot to mention that the hydrofarm light has a built in ballast. i could put my 400 watt in there with air coolable hood. the 400 has a remote ballast so the heat generated by that could just be placed ouside the tent. any suggestions?
