Two reviews of Geert Wilders Fitna from one the host sites
Poligazette is back up now. It looks rather like the people who run the site intended to host the film and then slander it to fuck once they had watched it, for which I commend them. No doubt this was without the permission of Geert Wilders and that was why the site was pulled last night for a few hours.
Interesting comments from the official host site LiveLeak regarding the pulling of the film: ""Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature and some ill-informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, LiveLeak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove 'Fitna' from our servers," the company said.
"
It's nothing to do with the content of the film, it's the fault of the British media LOL fucking idiots.
Well, sorry you guys all seem to have missed this yesterday, I had a thrill packed day yesterday following this, it was one of the most intriguing pieces of news to come out this year.
Anyway, to summarise, following the release of the film (and in the days running up to it) the following events have transpired.
A dutch muslim organisation is suing Geert Wilders.
Kurt Westergaard, the Danish cartoonist who sketched the Mohammed caricature which caused riots and lead to death threats recently, is also suing Geert Wilders for using the image in his film without his permission, saying that he now feels his life is yet again in danger and that his cartoon was intended as a protest against terrorism NOT Islam as a whole.
The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has condemned the film in his strongest language calling it "offensively anti-Islamic"
And the Dutch Prime Minister released the following statement:
"The film equates Islam with violence, we reject this interpretation. The vast majority of Muslims reject extremism and violence and in fact the victims are often also Muslims.
"We therefore regret that Mr Wilders has released this film, we believe it serves no other purpose than to cause offence."
Not only are the Dutch government considering repercussions, but the rap artist Salah Edin whos photograph was mistakenly used in place of the guy who murdered Theo van Gogh is also consulting his lawyers.

Who is the clown? Geert Wilders!
