You'll find that UA's vary widely.
You go in fill out the paperwork.
They'll usually ask you to empty your pockets. Illegal for them to do a pat down so there should be no searches.
Hand you a cup or ask you to pick one out.
Go to a bathroom where the door should be closed and usually there is blue dye in the toilet and the sink water is turned off.
Put about 2 ounces of what ever you're using in the cup. Usually a temp strip on the side of the cup.
Bring it out and the tech will check off temp OK on paperwork.

Be sure and practice as much as you can with the QF. You might want to pickup a couple more cheap hand warmers just in case.
When you go take your UA if the temp is a little warm just blow on it after you pour it in the cup. If its a little cool, rub your thumb briskly on your clothes and place your thumb on the temp strip for a few seconds.
