What if there is no temp change between night and day??

Keeping day/night temperatures the same can help reduce internode distance on growing plants but it will also cause chlorosis when done for to long. Plants will resume normal colour and growth once day/night temperatures have at least 10 degrees of fluctuation.

Forgot to mention earlier but I doubt anyone has same temps day and night. The reason I say this is because I always have a cooler room when lights off. While my a/c temp is set to 77 with lights on, the temp in the canopy is 83 to 85. I reduce setting to 74 each morning when I leave( lights are off) and canopy temp is 73 to 75.

If I leave the a/c on a single setting (Lights on or off) I still have a 7or 8 degree diff between night and day at canopy level.

in the summer, my big cabinet stays around 90 degrees, 24/7, even with all the fans and ventilation running :wtf: ... so what ? the spoiled little bitches are pampered, if I stuck them outside, they'd be 105 degrees ... I can't afford to run my A/C for myself, let alone the plants ... seriously though, optimum growth is seen in the 70's, but it takes a LOT of abuse to kill a WEED ... try to keep your temps down, but don't make yourself sick, stressing over it ...

Yeah, good comment. Sometimes we get focused on a particular issue and wind up with blinders on. Your right, they can be tough suckers.
