The point of 'you'd be better off with HID' comes right around 200 watts.

psteve Reviewed by psteve on 03-27-2008. Cooler..250 mh or 12 26 watt cfls? what would run cooler? A 250 watt mh with remoted ballast out of cab, or, my current setup of 12 26 watt cfls. If the mh is cooler, then I don't need to aircool it! Those cfls run pretty hot! Rating: 5
