    stinky please help

a week after cloning my clomes had roots coming out of the medium some were 2-3 inches long and the little hairs were missing but i waited til i seen about 5 per outgrown roots and then tranplanted to dixies raised light as much as dixies raised plant tops kept domed for three more days, well took off for about two hours one day after transplant and they didnt look like they liked it very much so i replaced the dome then 3 days later i removedit some looked a little burnt thought maybe was water on leaves. next day a ok then today they started to burn pretty bad some seemed to dryand curl others not so bad but are dryingfrom the inside of the leaves to the tips but not stem wierd had 13 clones under 4 24w t5 HO about 6 in. from plants light runs cool to touch bulbs after all day run curently in room with mother and running18/6 distance seems perfect under dome had all clones rooted at one point one died so i removed it ad roots were gone am think i removed dome early or transplanted premature read your post noob guide would love some pics of root structure at tranplant and amount of growth from cutting to transplant or well you het the idea please and thank you

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE could you punctuate/paragraph-ize? I'd love to help but that's just super confusing...

You've got a LOT of light on your little clones.
What soil did you transplant into? Was it fresh or used? Did you fertilize with anything?
What are your temps? Roots gone= root rot. The 'drying from leaves not stems' sounds like rot too if it's what I'm imagining. Tips drying is too low humidity, but the bases of the blades browning is fungal.
Did you water when you transplanted? How heavily? With what? Do the cups have drain holes? Did you soak the cloning medium?

Removing the dome and hardening off the new clones is a slow process. Take it off for just a short time at first, then the next day take it off for longer, and see how long before you notice either droop or edges curning, put it back on. Repeat until there is no wilt/curl.

a week after cloning my clones had roots coming out of the medium some were 2-3 inches long and the little hairs were missing. I waited til i seen about 5 roots per peat (dried peat tabs) and then tranplanted to 18oz dixies then raised light as much as dixies raised plant tops. I took off the dome for about two hours one day after transplant and they didnt look like they liked it very much. I then replaced the dome, 3 days later i removed it some looked a little burnt thought maybe was water on leaves, no burning from inside out yet. the next day a ok then today they started to burn pretty bad some seemed to dry and curl others not so bad but are dryingfrom the inside of the leaves to the tips but not the stem wierd. I had 13 clones under 4 24w t5 HO about 6 in. from plants and the light runs cool to touch. clones are curently in room with mother and running18/6. the clones distance seems perfect under dome, I had all clones rooted at one point even a small amount of growth on some. 1 died so i removed its roots were gone. do you think i removed dome early or transplanted premature. I read your post noob guide would love some pics of root structure at tranplant and amount of growth from cutting to transplant or well you het the idea please and thank you

There's a root pic in my donkey dick log but you still didn't say what you transplanted into. Did you just put the peat puck in a cup? You need actual medium in there- soil or soilless- to qualify as a true transplant. I think you very likely had too much water in the peat pellet or too little oxygen to the roots after transplant.
Here's how I do it- when I see roots, I transplant into a ~3" pot that has nice FLUFFY, LIGHT soil in it that drains real well, and water the soil only VERY lightly. The roots need lots of oxygen when they are growing, and too much water or too dense soil blocks O2.

I used eb stone organics ednas best. It has worm castings mychrzial fungi, bat guano, kelp meal, feather meal, works great for vegging but was all i had and it was brand new.

i know its strong so I flushed each dixie out with just over a gallon of 1 day stand out water. my curretnt temp is 78 and pretty much stays there maybe up to 85 tops when i turn my fans off while im working in my G.R. but they only go off if im apply ing something i dont want to blow around.

in the morning i flushed and soaked soil, theres several holes in the cups that were left out side all day to drain. then transplanted that evening bout two hours before lights out.

when tranplantimg I did not water peats, some were still kinda wet. this morning i noticed some moss on the tops of some of the soil. I then repositioned my fans so more air passed through the clone area. gosh I miss my outdoor grows so much easier

That mix IS a little on the strong side. I don't know about others, but I like a pretty sterile mix to put newly-rooted clones in. ProMix with extra perlite would be an example. I really think you just ended uyp with too wet medium and those BUGS! Where are THEY coming from? Fungus gnats would have a larval stage indeed but I've never seen it. They love rich organic sloppy muck though, that's for damn sure!

Crap. Seriously go grab yourself a sack of promix or something because it just SUCKS to get roots- that's the hardest part- and lose the clones due to some annoying bullshit reason like a transplanting mistake!! Oh man I feel for ya.

Well sure you can use a commercial soil drench but the main things you want in a first-transplant soil are:
    -STERILE
    -NO ADDED FERTS
    -LIGHT AND FLUFFY
The drench will leave the soil wet and stagnant, since there are no roots in there to remove moisture. You want it to be nearly dry when you put the plants in, and water it nice and gently as they start to grow.
Your compost sounds like it is causing you problems and I would suggest saving it for the NEXT transplant, whcih should be pretty soon after the first, into a 5-8" pot.
