Knock it off. Kids shouldn't be growing, and by kids I mean folk who are not the head of their household. Your parents can get their property taken from them, they might be sent off to jail, or social services might get involved.

You can't grow anything decent and hide it from your parents. If you're using the right lighting (fluro tubes, mh, hps) they have ballasts that hum when they're on. Plus you need fans and someone's gonna find it strange that there's a fan on inside a closet for 3 monthes. Then you have odor, and when you dry the buds they will stink up the place, the worst time for odor is the harvest.

I ain't nobody's daddy or nothing but it's totally irresponsible and stupid to grow in someone else's house without their approval.

If you really need to get into it, do it outside and off your folks property, so that the only ass on the line is yours.

Although I'm not really in favor of minors smoking too much I'm not naive and dumb and some are mature enough to handle that while maintaining good grades and doing their shit. But possession and cultivation are 2 totally different ball games. Possession is a violation, cultivation (of even a few plants) brings the charge up to Felony status.

Anywho, I'm stepping off the soapbox now. sorry if anyone feels offended, but it's a serious issue.
