Gore mulling third party run in '08...lol

Gore mulling third party run in '08 | Article | Free Access | Insight

Too funny. Al "have I got a carbon credit for you" Gore mulling third party run in 08. Also some rumors about him showing up for the DNC brokered convention.

Mark Tomasik: Don't discount Gore-led ticket : Columns : TCPalm

OMG...Better than any soap opera ever made. (Dark Shadows being the only possible exception)

Out of the blue, somebody NOBODY voted for in the primaries may get the DNC nod? That's the spirit...buck the US electoral process, and throw-out all of the Democrats' primary votes. Guess there were still some Democrats they hadn't offended yet. The Super-Delegates will save the day, I'm sure. ROFLMAO.

    Good luck guys, lol.

Sure was nice of Gore to create such a controversy just a couple of years before the democrats are poised (in their minds) to re-take the White House. We get to vet him all over again, lol.

If the writers in Hollyweird could write this stuff, I might just go see their movies.

Kyoto and the Nobel Organization are even worse. I'm still unsure why Gore deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for pretending the sky is falling and offering to sell his "carbon credits" to alleviate our guilt? Perhaps AL included some of the judges for that little trophy into his Sci-Fi movie? Another credible body bites the dust.
And I'm not sure I want my tax dollars being spent in Taiwan and India, to help them pretend to fix this global catastrophe.

..."The press, most of whom have firmly identified with the alarmist cause, continues to appease the Green gods by faithfully running IPCCâ??s now unrealistic scientific propaganda, thereby stoking public alarm; the science is a done deal, they say, and the time has come to stop talking. According to UK journalist, Geoffrey Lean, all that is lacking to solve the global warming â??crisisâ?ť is political will from governments.

Well, thank the Lord for that lack. For the IPCCâ??s 2007 final Summary for Policymakers shows that the climate alarmists are at last on the run. Their evidence for dangerous, human-caused global warming, always slim, now lies exposed in tatters for all to see. In contrast, the alternative, persuasive and non-alarmist view of climate change is well summarized in two recently issued and readily available documents. The first is a letter to the Secretary General of the United Nations, which was released at the UNâ??s Bali conference last December, supported by the signatures of 103 eminent professional persons. The second is the Manhattan Declaration on Climate Change, the release of which coincided with the launch of the International Climate Science Coalition at a major climate rationalist conference in New York in early March.
The evidence for dangerous global warming adduced by the IPCC has never been strong on empirical science. Endless circumstantial scare campaigns have been run about melting glaciers, more droughts and storms and floods, sea-level rise and polar bears, but all founder on one inescapable problem â?? as does Mr. Al Goreâ??s over-hyped science fiction film. And that is that we live on a naturally variable planet. Change is what planet Earth does on all scales, and so far not one of the alleged effects of human-caused global warming has been shown to lie outside normal planetary variation. Sea-level rising? Sure, it happens. And the appropriate response is adaptation, as the Dutch have known for centuries.â?ť...

CFP: THE IPCC: ON THE RUN AT LAST
    The story does continue...Interesting read.

Welcome back to the party, Al. This ought to be fun.

Looks like the "Gore Mulling...." article is a year old, so I'm pretty sure he is done mulling now, and probably decided agianst it.

As for columnist Mark Tomasik of the illustrious TC Palm which serves Florida's Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches, and his source U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney, whose district includes much of Martin and St. Lucie counties, I'm not really sure how much stock to put in the theory that a brokered convention would yield a Gore ticket. Seems a little farfetched for all the reasons previously cited.

Yeah, but it's some juicy gossip, just the same. I even prefaced the story with it being a rumor, unlike most of the other propaganda I see in here, lol.
You think there is no chance Gore will "form a committee", to explore his chances?
Sounds apropoe for a man thoroughly humiliated in his last attempt at winning the White House. His past adversary is not able to "steal" (his words) the next election, so might even think he stands a chance. Especially with all that's going on in the DNC.

It may have only been a thought a year ago, (more likely: a way to get free publicity for his Oscar winning sci-fi movie) when his potential competition were showing pretty phenominal numbers...but with Hibilly and Obama making mince meat of each other, I'm sure he'd love the opportunity to change America HIS way, lol. I can see the barker on the White House lawn, with a little megaphone and a snake-oil salesman's voice..."credits here, get your carbon credits...Law says world will end without 'em, get 'em here...Buy one credit, and we send two overseas in YOUR name..." (and turns to Al..."Al, go get my jacket...it's frickin freezin' out here")
