Question:

Are there any opinions here about light movement (not light movers), and it's effect of growth rate/vigor of MJ? My lightweight 400 HPS w/batwing hood swings around as a result of the circulating fan I keep on my girls during daytime 12/12. Its a must where I grow to control temp and humidity.

I've always assumed that the gentle sway of the light worked in a way that's similar to automated "light movers" (e.g. it allows me more sq footage/per watt for growing)

Of course, my light "swings" faster than lights mounted to a mover (which if I understand correctly, mimics the movement of the earth around the sun).

Am I wrong? Is it better to keep a non-moving "static" light blasting down on the girls rather than the gentle breeze effect that allows the light to be more broadly dispersed?

Thought? Thanks!
