Ok two threads in one day, I know, I'm needy. But I'm trying to help everybody out as much as I can to justify some responses to my questions. Ok so as we all know there is a Gigantic disgusting price difference between wal-greens and online test strips. $15 per at my local store as compared to a few bucks a pop on the net. My question is if there is a difference between these tests? Is the store bought version that comes in the big green box just marketed to the dumb suburban mom that thinks that thats the only way to test their kid (be an involved parent and you wont have that problem).
Or is the store bought version more expensive because it must meet more stringent demands for manufacturing, i.e. perhaps the online tests are cheap chinese made tests that wont necessarily work everytime. I know the store bought ones usually have the option to send it in to their sponsored lab if it comes positive, perhaps that is why the price is jacked. Anyone got any insight on this>?
I hate to spend 15 bucks at a store when I could order for a fraction of the price with shipping included.
