The one or two hours before testing won't be a problem AS LONG AS the sample hasn't been left at room temps over 5 hours. Most will say 8 hours, but I like to give leadway for comfort. I would say as long as you get the temp right you shouldn't have any problem. Just for added comfort, my frozen sample was thawed and brought up to testing temps and was sent off to a lab for testing. I've done it twice this way with NO harmful effects and NO reprecussions. One other note....if you find time limited you can place frozen sample in hot water for thawing before setting on counter to get to room temp. Whatever you do, give yourself extra time to take all the steps by getting up a little earlier if needed. It will be worth it.
