Timers & ext plug
At the moment I am using 200w envirolite connected to an extention plug. I am want to use a timer when i switch to flowering. However, i don't know whether i can use a standard timer(from local hardawre shop) or whether i need to use a light switching timer contactors. I am worried if I use a timer with the ext plug then risk of fire or timer being disabled will occur. Any advice?

Not to sure what you mean in terms of it being connected to an extension plug...
You have the socket wired properly and you're using an extension cord to reach the wall??
If that is the case than using a analog timer from a hardware store should be no problem.
If.. that's what you meant.:wtf:

yeah using an extension cord to reach the wall. I have that read plugging a plug timer digital/analog into an extension cord not good beacuse not designed to handle the (inductive) power loads. Just want to be extra careful leaving it by itself during the day.
