Yesterday, Bushy managed to insult some of the only supporters he has left.

In an address to the U.S. troops, on the 5th anniversary of the illegal invasion/police occupation of Iraq, (which Bush promised the troops and the American people would last only 3 months)

Bush stated that he was "envious" of the "fantastic experience" of the soldiers on the front lines... what a pathetic ass our President is..

"I must say, I'm a little envious," Bush said. "If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed."


"It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks," Bush said.

And in the great words of Stephen Colbert:

"Because dodging bullets in the 110 degree desert is much more fun (and Romantic!) than pushing a piece of glazed salmon across your dinner plate while pretending to listen to Condaleeza Rice attempt to play the piano"

And the irony of the entire thing?

When Bush had the chance to serve his country, his daddy made sure he received a non-combat job with the Alabama Air National Guard. Instead of "serving," Bushy went AWOL......


Way to go Bushy. First you made the world hate you. Then you made the intellectuals and the artists and the peacemakers here at home hate you too. Now you insult the last few Americans that were willing to take up weapons in your illegal invasion, and they will hate you as well.

Honestly though, if he is that envious, I'm sure something could be worked out for him. He could probably pull a few strings and get himself a tour of duty as soon as he is out of office. He might be a little old for kicking down doors and storming safe houses, but you're never too old for picking up little bits of guts and brains and packin' 'em in body bags. He should definitely do that.
