has anyone tryed to add some water gel to there soil? it's ph free and just holds onto water for longer. Ive not tryed this myself so don't take it as advice.

The only problem is, I am away from home sometimes 4 days out of the week. Would the plant be OK for those days without water or will they definitely die? What are my options?
