I'm glad the Australian government is not quite as harsh on us as the US gov is on its own citizens, the Australian federal government cannot over-rule the state governments on illicit drug usage and manufacture laws, it's a pity that none of them have the balls to be the first one to at least make mj available to med users.

that is interesting, i did not know that. Aussie Federalism :smokin: i wonder if that is in the Australian Constitution? some would argue, like me for instance :stoned: that the US federal gov't also does not have the right to act against the states based on our own 9th and 10th amendments, but Bush and all his psuedo-conservative Supreme Court judges seemed to have scribbled out that section in their copy.
