Extreme temperatures are not good for glass.
When you freeze the glass and then heat it rapidly it makes it prone to breakage.

Freezing before smoking Just thought id share my idea, well basicly just put your pipe in your freezer for about 5-10 minutes, by then it should be pretty damn cold and smoke out of it, i found that it makes the smoke allot less hard on your lungs :rastasmoke: althought im not sure if this gets rid or wastes any of the thc, but i doubt it have fun, peace :rasta: Rating: 5
