keeko Reviewed by keeko on . why do leaves have trichomes? This is a dumb question, and I usually know stuff like this, but why would the plant produce resin glands way out on the leaves, far from the flower? If they caught pollen, how would that pollen get back to the flower for insemination? My assumption is that they were genetically manipulated to do that, that they didn't naturally develop that tendency...anyone know? Rating: 5
