Fill this out: Troubleshooting form
There's a lot of reasons why a crop can fail, but without knowing what your setup is like, one can only guess.

setup.....
its very basic, i use a high mostiure soil, water once a or twice a day just enough to make the top soil soak it in. i have been using some tomato food for them but stoped that 3 days ago. and i also have a lil grow light that is like 120 watts. or somethin..(walmart special lol) the temp stays around 74 to 80 F. and the humidity is around 55%

First off, you don't need to feed with ANY fertilizers until the seedling has four or more sets of leaves. Secondly, the tomato food you're using probably has a higher amount of Phosphorus to Nitrogen. Higher % N is what plants need in veg.
I'm not sure what kind of bulb you're using, but if it's an incandescent, get rid of it. Those put out too much heat for the amount of usable light they produce. Look into fluorescent fixtures, either tubes or CFLs. (Those squiggly looking bulbs that are about the same size as standard incandescent bulbs.)
You don't want a soil that holds moisture for too long, as this can lead to a fungal attack (a.k.a. Damping-off disease) that can kill seedlings almost instantly. If the soil you're using contains a lot of moisture retaining agents, you should consider adding perlite to the mix to help aerate the soil.

budmanwm welcome!
First off I'm no expert but you will find them here.
You should not have to water them 1 or 2 times a day.
Your probably drownding them.
Give them a chance to use some of the moisture up before adding more.
Good Luck

I've came up with a good analogy for you.
You don't fertilizer a seedling just like you dont feed a baby a steak. ahah

Sounds like damping-off.
Start with fresh unused unfertilized soil and wash all your pots.
Keep it slightly moist, not wet.
Give good air flow.
Keep the plants in a clean place.
