Nothing that ive heard of but im pretty new to growing.

This is something I was wondering. I think some people think that by adding molasses or sugar to feed water, you supply the plant with glucose that it uses in bud production. Other people say that it makes no difference as the plant provides enough sugar to support herself.

Any thoughts anyone... lets start a debate:dance:

The theory behind this seems reasonable but I've used it and couldn't tell any difference. I can say for certain I've experienced no adverse effects from it.

Theory:
Plants need carbon. The more available it is, the better.
Atmospheric CO2 is one source, organically-bound carbon from the soil is another. Giving added C in the form of very simple carbohydrates [read: simple sugars] is an efficient way to deliver to the plant the necessary 'building blocks' for it to both put on MASS in the form of cellulose etc, and to increase production of desirable HYDROCARBONS, which include the psycohactive resins and aromatic terpenes.
Don't overdo it, and use only unsulfured molasses at about a tablespoon per gallon.
