A little worried about substitution

I've been reading this forum for a while now and I'm pretty convinced that the best way to handle my drug test is substitution. Here's my situation: it's just a normal job UA; I just go into Quest Diagnostics and they do their thing, I do my thing. I can do this test any time within the next 10 days. I've been smoking a lot, plus I tried some salvia a couple days ago and some shrooms a few weeks ago. I considered dilution for some time, but it had me too worried because this is a BIG job for me and I don't want to risk screwing this up.

For substitution, I have some Dr. Greens Agent X Premixed Unisex Synthetic Urine with heating element. My plan as of now is to heat it up in the microwave for 10 seconds, use my digital thermometer to check its around 100, put the bottle between two layers of briefs, then head out the door for Quest. The thing I'm worried about is that the fake urine is yellow but it has no odor. Should this be a concern? Does this urine seem similar to QuickFix? I have another option though: I got my clean friend to piss in a small bottle about a week and a half ago. Since then I have kept it frozen. I'm sure I could get some newer clean urine but my concern there is that I won't be able to pour it out properly.

I've never had to do a drug test before...how hard would it be to pour something out of a bottle into whatever they give you? Actually, what do they give you to piss into? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Nope. Because a lack of odor can be had in human urine samples as well as synthetic.

Its the samples with the odd, unusual odors that raises red flags with the UA techs. Like odors that are not supposed to be present in human urine (i.e. bleach, household chemicals, etc).

They give you a plastic cup with a line on it. You will have no problem getting it in there best tip is to practice on temp and take the cap off and pour it in the plastic cup so that the bottle does'nt make a sucking sound and don't drop anything. Good Luck

If it's a test for DOT you have to give 60ml...a tad more than 2oz

Then get the agent x it has 3 oz of sub and works just as well as qf and is about the same price

i saw a post on here from smoker35, i believe the name was. In it, he states that for a DOT physical, you have to give 60 ml, which is a bit more than the 2oz you get from qf.

is this difference so small that the naked eye will not notice?

I'm finally getting my temps right. please do not tell me i now have to worry about coming up short?

I'm hoping to drop tomorrow or on Monday.

Smoking35 I'm sorry but you are wrong.

A DOT drug test sample requires 45 ml, 30 for the A sample, 15 for the B sample. 2 ounces is 60 mls which allwos them to make both samples 30 ml if they really want to (some collectors will do that if they are given enough).

Almost all drug test will require 45 mls or less. This will take care of most split samples.

The split sample is if you would like to challenge a positive test with a different lab at your cost. They will test the B sample. Good luck though because it is even difficult to actually get them to responde to the request for testing the B sample at your request. It's like they just ignore you.

Thank's for that info FBR, I feel like I am being used...yesterday, when I gave my sample they asked for 60ml, 30 for each split. Am I legally bound to comply with the collector's requests?

As fbr stated 60ml (2 ounces) is the usual amount. My tests have always been DOT tests and I have occasionally been asked for more. Thats why I still follow the dillution sticky the morning of the test. Rather than argue with the tech I just add a little of my heavily dilluted urine to the QF as I fill the cup.
