Seemed lacking in the content that would put this to rest. Was really impressed how broadcast tv decided not to cover the speech. Guess then they would have to give the other candidates equal time, as it sounded like nothing more than a greasy campaign speech.
I believe Obama's campaign has done more to subvert Martin Luther King's progress, than any other modern-day politician.
Quite the uniter, indeed.

Being stuck in the 60's has jaded the message he (the rev) had supposed was relevent, but the congregation eats it up? Where are the checks-and-balances?

I owe the black community nothing, and am getting fairly impatient with those that attempt to tell me otherwise. Fucking get over it and take some responsibility for your own destiny. Slavery still exists here in the US, but it's the children of the black churches like the Trinity United Church of Christ being held slave by the elders' indoctrination into the 'poor black man held back by whitey and US policy' syndrome.

But it's a black thing, not understood by whites.
Is it me, or was this the jest of the speech?

I wonder how long till we see the tv ad's with all this content that has been kept off of the broadcast airwaves thusfar? I heard on Fox News up to 40% of folks polled haven't even heard of this story.
