Planned extended Light outage? ok 5 weeks flowering?

I may have to take my plants and put them in the dark with no lights for 24-48 hours due to some unexpected plumbing issues (maintenance man has to come into my place. The plumbing issue is in my bathroom which is attached to the inside of my room.).

I can hide the plants in the closet and everything would be fine but I just want to know if extended darkness would be likely to cause the plants to go hermie just like light leaks would during flowering.

would it be suggested to continue to give them light in the closet even if it was very weak?

I could hang a 4ft t12 light fixture and keep it over the plants on a timer. It wouldn't be intense light and only 6000 lumens over a 4ft area, but at least this way I could keep them on their lighting schedule?

    Would this work?

I've had to hide my grow for a short time (3-4 days) due to unexpected circumstances before and I don't remember any dire results from it.

I think if you can give them some light, even if much less than usual, that would be good too.

it's pretty important to keep them on their lighting schedule or you may stress them.....worst case scenario.....hermies.

Poor lighting to maintain photoperiod is certainly better than messing with the lighting schedule completely.....especially in later flowering.
