Sorry mate you are quite right they ARE clamping down on selling booze in the coffeeshops, the bastards. Went there for first time in a year and a half to see The Kills, went into my favourite bar/cofeeshop Cafe 420 (Zappa's Bar otherwise known as), bought a gram of Neville's Haze which was a very nice bit of weed actually, sat down at the bar. "Een amsterdametje, alst u blieft" Sorry, NO beer anyome... WHAT!!!!!! I'm looking up and down the bar, not a beer tap in sight.... damn!

But I did find a bar/coffeeshop that does allow alcohol, the fucking Bulldog! I hate that place.

Oh well, all good things must come to an end.

(also i dont know whether you lot know but theres no alcohol in any coffeeshops now,but most of the pubs dont mind you smoking(just remember to ask first;-)). first dampkring,my favorite!multiple branches in amsterdam,not to expensive,and enough room to sit and chill dampkring prices for dank range from 15 euros (G13 haze) to 5euros (jamican).hash prices go as high as 50 euros(A grade ice hash)but start at around 5 in Rating: 5
