No way you will get 10,000 lumens of cfl in a nightstand with no vent. I have 14,000 lumens of cfls in my 4ft x 3ft x 6.5ft veg cab, in a basement, in the winter, with 172 cfm exhaust, passive AND active air intakes, and a circulation fan in the cab. temp hits 80 on the regular under the lights. (P.s. I know cause I have a thermometer/hygrometer like I am supposed to.) Your room smells like weed all the time, so smell won't worry you... The kind of Parents..or R.A.s, who let their kid/student residents smoke in their rooms wouldn't catch on as quickly as one thinks. (I know because my parents smoke! and no I never grew in their home.) Therefore you probably could grow on the proper light schedule and be safe. Also, flowering pot plants do not smell like a spent bong hit. LOL maybe if you were sitting on a pile of dried weed in a closet. My buddy grew 4 SMALL plants under t-12s in his closet and I smelled that shit in the driveway!! (using t-12s....not the carbon filter type!) And 1 guy "supposedly" grows under 12-12 from seed. Yeah and Ive heard claims of growing 2 lbs of DANK under a desk lamp with a grow bulb in it. (seriously, I saw his seedlings and said he needed more light and he said that his last yield was 2 lbs.....) The reason we are all talking about your light schedule, is because that is what makes them flower. They are EXTREMELY photoperiod sensitive..to the point where a 3 mm light leak can cause chaos on a grow. You can't just light them when you want to. how can the light leaks be that bad? Tape the seams, weatherstrip the door, but better light traps on the vent. You were resourceful enough to construct that thing, which is pretty cool, so finish it!! By the way The courts feel that either your parents are in on it....or if they are dumb enough to have it go on under their noses, they need parenting help. And if you are over 18....time to leave. You get busted, your parents lose their house, potentially. How you get busted? Tell 2 friends, they tell 2, someone who doesn't like you finds out..(I know...hard to believe someone as pigheaded has enemies..) They call the cops to get at you. Mom and dad spend tons on lawyers to keep their house. And for what? If your gonna risk it.. AT LEAST FOLLOW THE MOST IMPORTANT RULES IN GROWING!! I'm not angry, or trying to piss you off. It's just that important. I was stubborn about a small light leak a friend warned me to fix. VERY small. I said...but the moons brighter than that! 2 hermies later I realized that indoor plants react differently to unnatural light sources. Very picky. Your plants will be confused as to whether to flower or grow leaves. It will grow...slow as hell..until it dies, or is forced into maturity too early, and flowers both male and female flowers, seeds up, and lacks all potentcy. That's ony if they do not succomb to your general lack of care for what the plant actually needs first! Risking a grow..in your parent's home, is dangerous and selfish alone. But risking it AND not doing it right is sorta like Holding up a bank with a gun, only to steal all the pens and no $$!

Oh, and the boss guy who grew under 12-12...He Only did that because he had to move, they took 13 weeks from seed, and he MAYBE got 1/2 oz from 4 plants. And he had way more light, and a lightproof area which meant no light leaks in the dark time. You have no other flowering plants that need the 12-12. He had plants finishing up in his 1 grow area, which is why he couldnt wait for those to finish before planting, he had to move. He even expressed a wish that he had been able to veg them under 18-6. It was a shotgun grow. He attempted it again, then killed all the plants, they never finished. Did you read the whole post? Or did you read what you wanted to read then quit?

this is like day 5 or 6... not sure...

and does anyone know why its kinda light green? Its really healthy and the leaves are perky its just that the plant is like a yellow green... is that normal when its young?

Ive been feeding it my urine mixed with alot of water... so maybe its too much nutrients or something?

You're not supposed to give seedlings ANY nutrients, and urine is an inappropriate fertilizer indoors. Gotta read the stickies. Start with the one in my siggy.
