I'm not too sure I understand why we have to pay to inspect an imported product, at the source. Shouldn't we require the Chinese pay all expenses for our inspections at ALL of their manufacturing plants, if they wish to export their drugs here?

Their track record seems awfully dubious. First our pets, (wheat gluten) then our kids. (lead, date rape compounds) Now they seem to be targeting our sick and elderly. On top of that, congress seems to think that throwing $375 million at the problem will solve an apparent conspiracy to do us great bodily harm.

Puropseful or not, our trade agreements with China, should be re-evaluated.
