To answer your question captainkeef; you can use either spectrum to grow. Blue (5500k-6500k) is ideal for vegetative growth. It allows for more compact nodes and more foliage.

Red (2700k - 3500k) is more ideal for flowering and causes some stretching in the plant.

You can use either spectrum to grow. It's just at any given stage a certain light temperature is preferred over the other.

You'll be fine for a few days.. a week, the entire grow with growing with reddish colored lights. Again it's just not ideal for veg.
