the way thc affects the brain is quit complicated but if you smoke on regular occasions your brain puts a kind of ceiling on your high.
its to do with the number of thc receptors that are left active in the brain, the more you smoke the less thc receptors stay active so you cant get as high no matter how much you smoke
cannabis tolerance is completly different to that of crack of heroin where you can usually jus increase the dose to get the desired effect. once your thc receptors are all or mostly non active or dorment from too much smokin you will jus reach that certain point and not get any more stoned.

i smoke volcanoes every day all day and find it really hard to get high properly i get lean but half hour later im back to norm, my friends cant smoke my volcanoes but i seem to suck em up like a hover no matter how strong the weed i can even smoke pure honey oil from breakfast onwards an not get that high from it.
usually a week or even a few days is enough time to allow the thc receptors to become active again
the best way to smoke is to maintain moderate amounts of smoking to keep the thc receptors active but to ensure you dont get the negative effects of the cbd which no tolerance can be built up to. if ya get me

So I read a lot of posts on this site and see about how much people smoke on a daily/weekly basis on the numerous "how much you smoke" threads along with the usual "tolerance" thread and I freak out at the results I find. In my readings, I see people smoke 2x, 3x, 4x, hell, even 5x the amount I smoke in a week, and yet, my tolerance is through the roof and probably higher than most of you all. This is not something I want as you can all imagine. So I did a little test last Saturday (7 Rating: 5
