So I read a lot of posts on this site and see about how much people smoke on a daily/weekly basis on the numerous "how much you smoke" threads along with the usual "tolerance" thread and I freak out at the results I find.

In my readings, I see people smoke 2x, 3x, 4x, hell, even 5x the amount I smoke in a week, and yet, my tolerance is through the roof and probably higher than most of you all. This is not something I want as you can all imagine.

So I did a little test last Saturday (7 days ago). I smoked a few bowls.

Method of usage: Glass bong
Bowl size: 0.2 grams
Interval between bowls: 10 minutes

Bowl #1: 2 medium hits
First 5 min: no effect
Next 5 min: I feel the weed affecting me SLIGHTLY. I can't pinpoint what I'm feeling but there is a slight difference than before smoking.

Bowl #2: 3 small hits
First 5 min: Feeling that slight difference, still can't pinpoint what it is.
Next 5 min: Feeling the same

Bowl #3: 2 medium hits
First 5 min: the same as before
Next 5 min: slight tingling feeling in my legs. (25 min after first bowl to feel something conclusive)

Bowl #4: 1 big hit, 1 very small hit
First 5 min: throat is burning from the big first hit of this bowl. Overall, still feeling the legs tingle a bit.
Next 5 min: Thoughts are coming and going a little, the tingling expanded to my feet.

Bowl #5: 3 small hits
First 5 min: Tingling expanded throughout my legs, arms, fingers, toes. Thoughts are coming and going. Chest is beginning to hurt a little.
Next 5 min: Tingling on the back of my neck and on top of my head. Feeling a screen over my eyes when I look around. Thoughts are coming and going rapidly now. Head is feeling cloudy. Stomach is growling a little.

Time spent: 1 hour
Weed smoked: 0.9g - 1.1g (~1g)

5 bowls for decent effects. Nothing spectacular.

Stopped smoking since the experiment. Today is 1 week after I did it, and tonight I will repeat the experiment to see what effect a 1 week break from cannabis will have on me.

Non-smoking methods tried in the past:

eating: 15-20 times. used a lot of bud to try and get fucked up, felt a mild high 4-5 times. about an ounce wasted in all those attempts.

lightbulb vaporizer: Don't own a real vape, tried this little piece of shit. smoked 2 "bowls" felt nothing. Made me look like a crack head too. 2 big thumbs down for this method.
