Probably not a good idea to keep images stored on any device that can be linked to you. If nothing else, it sounds like having these images recovered by authorities could possibly lead to a warrant to search you, your car, or your home based on suspicion of manufacture/probable cause. If you're wanting to keep these kinds of images on hand, consider putting them on something like a flash drive or a CD-ROM. In the event of an emergency, you can toss those in the microwave and quickly destroy any damning photo evidence.

Would a microwave fry my SD card?

Never had to do it, but I imagine it would. There aren't many electronic gadgets that can get nuked in a microwave and still be operational when you take it out!

If you want err on the side of extreme caution, put the files on a CD-ROM. Nuke that, and it's guaranteed no one will ever see what was on it. As an added bonus, it puts on a nice fireworks show right in your microwave.

Yeah it could be used as evidence. I would break the copper connectors on that SD and try to get another one through warranty depending on how much it costed u.

The only sure way to get rid of evidence on a computer / memory device.. would be burn it. Burning it gets rid of everything that could possibly link it to you.

Many crimes are voided by fire. Natural yet deadly.

im pretty sure you cant get in trouble for having pictures. you could just say you got them off the internet or something. the only problem i could see would be if they were like doing an investigation into your shit but it should never come to that.

when i got arrested they went through my phone. Picked up my calls & claiming my friends were 'customers'. Incriminating pictures of weed, i had a pic with an ounce and one with 12 bags. also incriminating text messages of people asking for drugs. its fucked up. aka, yes. they raid your phone, atleast nypd does.

I got arrested in GA after I got pulled over on my scooter, with no license (which isn't illegal) and he searched my helmet compartment while they were about to tow it and found a nice quarter, that I had just bought and didn't even get to smoke yet. But anyways, they were completely befuddled by my iPhone and certainly didn't go looking through it. Which is a good thing, because it was littered with incriminating shit from my roor background to the pictures of me at the cannabis college in amsterdam.

So I guess, get an iPhone.
