Hey everybody... I'm currently in northern Ontario, and I am planning on growing 8 or 9 plants this spring outdoors... There is currently snow everwhere, with a temperature of 2 degrees. It is warming up, when do you think I should transplant my seedlings outside? I am growing the seedlings till about 7 inches then transplanting into some soil.

Also this will be my first grow, so I do not know much, I am curious if growing around pine trees will affect my plants because the pine needles put acid into the ground... I will be replacing the soil with top soil ( from a bag ) but I think that over time the acids would get into the top soil.

Also I was reading about what kind of fertilizers to use, and I was searching my house and only found some that said 15-30-15, so this is the stuff high in physophus? I use this fertilizer for the flowering stage?

If you can answer any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
