i hear you can clean out your pipe with rubbing alcohol...would it be safe to smoke the resin that comes out after its been soked in alcohol...will the alcohol evaporate???i am totally out of weed and i already cleaned my pipe...:hippy::hippy::rastasmoke:

Its safe buy but you have yo dry it out good. Live it for atleast couple hours. Iso evaporates. Don't put it in the seen its gonna burn the rez. I suggest you scrape the pipe tho. You don't really need iso unless you are cleaning your pipe for looks and taste. :jointsmile:

If you'v already scraped the pipe, it would be pretty pointless using ISO as you aint gonna get much else to smoke dude.

Unless your ipe: is still caked in resin?..

I once read a piece in High Times on how to make your own Thai Sticks. The author specifically said "Use only GRAIN alcohol, NOT RUBBING alcohol because smoking rubbing alcohol can make you go blind." maybe not in those exact words but you understand.

sure you can clean your bowl with rubbing alcohol but I wouldn't smoke the resin.

TOO LATE...i already tryed it..it got me a lil high and it diden make me blind..i let it dry on the heater for 2 hours :rasta:it tasted like shit:wtf:

My neighbor always smokes resin. I never understood why... if I don't have weed, then I don't smoke. Big whoop. No need to smoke the nasty by-product, I always figured.

However, the few times I smoked resin were alright.

Let it dry out and sure, it is safe... but it makes you look like a fiending crackhead.

And, of course, I say "safe" relative to smoking weed. Smoking anything, including marijuana itself, is dangerous and poses all sorts of long term health risks because of tar content.

Just wait until you can buy more of the green herb, and then vaporize. That's my suggestion, if "safe" is what you're going for.
